Organized by the Nanzan University Center for American Studies
Co-hosted by the Faculty of Global Liberal Studies and the Institute for Social Ethics
Healthcare has consistently been one of the most important issues in American elections and politics. Why does it matter so deeply? Through a dialogue between a medical scholar and a political scientist, this event explores the realities, structure, and political dimensions of healthcare in the United States, including topics such as COVID-19, the opioid crisis, and health insurance reform. This event is being held as part of the 50th Anniversary Commemorative Project of the Nanzan University Center for American Studies.
