University Guesthouse Information
Location
The university guesthouse (Nanzan Gakuen Kenshu Center) is located across Hayato Pond, a quiet local park that is nice for a short walk.
From Irinaka Station (Subway Tsurumai Line), it is about a 5–6 minute walk.
There is a gate on the west side of the building.
Check-in
On March 12, the building opens at 1:00 PM, and you can check in to your room from 3:00 PM. At the reception desk, please tell staff your name, and you will receive your room key.
Important: The front doors are locked at 11:00 PM and will not open again until around 6:00 AM. Please return to the guesthouse by 11:00 PM each night.
Rooms and other facilities
Each room has a sink and air conditioning (no bathroom inside). One towel is provided. No linen service is available during your stay.
There are restrooms on each floor, as well as individual bathrooms (shampoo and conditioner provided).
The guesthouse does not provide food service. Inside the building, there is only one vending machine.
There is a laundry room in the building (There is a larger coin laundary across the main street, and we recommend there, however). A dryer is available to borrow—please check it out at the front desk.
There is a common room with basic plates/utensils, as well as a refrigerator, microwave oven, and toaster.
Wi-Fi is available only in limited areas inside the building. Please do not expect stable Wi-Fi in your room.

Royal Host is nearby in the Yagoto area, but please note that Royal Host Yagoto lists a closure on March 12 and a late opening (11:00) on March 13.
We recommend a casual walk to Kōshōji Temple (Yagoto-san Kōshōji). It is a well-known local temple and an easy visit by subway/walking in the Yagoto area.
